Art for Every Room

Ginkgo leaf sink on a walnut pedestal top. 

The sink will sit on a glass overlay. 

The walnut support will be fiber glassed, filled with water ... and gold fish.

The walnut base and post will be turned. 

Fixtures will complete the working sink.

Art Sculpture II

Roger's latest sculpture, titled "Bohemian Rhapsody," measures 7" x 32".  

When framed, the final piece will have a black background.

 The staff (or stave) bars are 5" wide. 

The time signature (or meter signature) measures 2" tall for each numeral.

Below is a pic of the beginning process.

You can see how, when complete, a black background will bring the sculpture to life.

This art sculpture will be the First Place Prize during the annual Touring Joara European and Sportscar Tour held October 1st, 2011 near Morganton, North Carolina. The event is sponsored by the Exploring Joara Foundation.

An additional sculpture, a little larger and of a different design, will be auctioned/raffled during the October event. 

Roger created this piece based on the event's 2010 poster of Table Rock Mountain in North Carolina. This sculptured art is described as follows:

• The handcrafted mountain scene is made from 1/4 inch brushed aluminum, 8 inches wide and 7 inches high, and is "framed" by a radius edge.
• The touring car, hand-sculpted from 1/2 inch thick aluminum and polished to a highly reflective shine, is set slightly off the background, giving the piece a three-dimensional look.  

Although this piece has been sold, you may custom order an individually designed sculpture of personal significance. Roger notes that the center artwork design may include - but is not limited to - a specific car/motorcycle/building/event/memorial/etc.
